About the Role

SITA's Aircraft Business Unit is dedicated to making flight operations, air traffic management, and aircraft maintenance more sustainable and efficient. This is achieved by enabling collaboration between people and organizations in the air transport industry through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage SITA Aircraft's overall relations with allocated partners, in line with the overall strategy and objectives set for each.
  • Develop and maintain a shared understanding of product roadmaps and service strategies to ensure alignment between SITA Aircraft and its partners.
  • Foster a consistent view of operational activities, including joint service development roadmaps, quality of service, support services, contracts, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage the partner governance model, including regular reviews, assessments, and action tracking to ensure accountability and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Partner Management and relevant business owners to establish and maintain a clear strategic engagement framework and action plan.
  • Partner with SITA Aircraft's Supplier Performance Management team when the partner also acts as a key supplier, to streamline processes and enhance collaboration.
  • Map and maintain active interfaces at senior executive, single point of contact (SPoC), and operational levels to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Owning and managing the escalation process between SITA Aircraft and its partners to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Engage continuously with key stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout all initiatives.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a commercial role supporting partnership relationships, with a strong preference for direct experience in the airline industry or with Air Navigation Service Providers.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain successful external partnerships, ensuring long-term collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of commercial dynamics and the ability to identify opportunities that drive value for both SITA Aircraft and its partners.
  • University degree in areas such as Business Administration, Product management, Management or relevant.
  • Exceptional negotiation capabilities, with a track record of securing favorable outcomes in complex discussions.
  • Skilled in handling escalations and conflicts diplomatically, ensuring resolutions that align with business objectives.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of articulating key issues and solutions effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in successfully managing projects with remote teams in a global matrix environment.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, able to bring together cross-functional teams and establish credibility without direct authority.
  • A proactive self-starter who can work autonomously within dispersed teams while managing multiple concurrent projects effectively.
