About the Role

Catenon is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our sales and marketing efforts in the wine sector. As Head of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a commercial business plan to launch new products on an international basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and manage the budget for the designated area, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain existing business relationships with key distributors, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Develop a distribution strategy and ideal route-to-market, analyzing competitors and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Measure the return on investment (ROI) for marketing activities, providing data-driven insights to inform future decisions.
  • Lead client negotiations, ensuring successful partnerships and revenue growth.
  • Supervise the relationship with marketing and design agencies, aligning these with the company's brand plan and jointly defining communication plans and strategies.
  • Report to the board and define key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • University degree and ideally an MBA or similar.
  • +10 years of experience in a similar role within the industry.
  • International experience and knowledge of key distributors in modern trade and on-trade.
  • Experience managing brands and marketing teams.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and initiative.
  • Crossover mindset.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, team player.
  • Strong communication and ability to influence others.
  • English proficiency.
  • Available to travel.
