As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for driving market penetration in the Analytical Sciences sector, specifically in the areas of NMR, MS, Electronic and Vibrational Spectroscopies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Life Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical/Chemical Industry, or Analytical Instrumentation. A working knowledge of MS, NMR, Vibrational Spectroscopy, and prior experience in sales are highly desirable, though not essential.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Mestrelab Business Development, you will be responsible for interacting with customers and prospective customers to present the company's product range, its capabilities, and adequacy to their needs.
- Represent and sell the Company's products, holding meetings with customers, face-to-face, online, and by telephone, to present the company's products and take all steps conducive to their adoption.
- Coordinate the strategy of your list of key accounts with other account managers in accordance with the guidance of the company's management.
- Upkeep and update the company's Customer Relationship Management system with details of customers and customer interactions.
- Participate in conferences, exhibitions, and other commercial events in which Mestrelab participates in the territories of USA & Canada.
- Assist customers with the development of proficiency in the use of Mestrelab's products and with the integration of the said products in their organizational workflows.
- Create a pipeline, grow it, and maintain it aligned with the allocated targets.
- Propose commercial strategies and marketing adjustments to improve Japanese market penetration.
- Promote other SciY products and solutions when appropriate and provide support to other SciY colleagues for joint opportunities.
- Degree or Master's degree
- We develop scientific software, which is sold globally to a range of industries, including pharmaceutical, chemical, food and beverage, governmental, and academic institutions.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits, work from home, and flexible working hours. You will travel on company business in Japan with some international travel, with around 25% of your working time dedicated to travel.
