**QA Lead: Simplifying Corporate Housing**

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at Apartool, a leading platform for temporary corporate accommodation. As a QA Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and workability of our deliverables, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the QA Process: Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage, overseeing and performing different types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and sanity tests.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Product and Tech teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and met, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to assure feature implementation and understanding.
  • Manage QA Tools and Methodologies: Manage and improve QA tools and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency, taking ownership of the defect lifecycle: track, report, and prioritize issues with clear communication.
  • Advocate for Best QA Practices: Advocate for best QA practices and continuously improve testing strategies within the SDLC cycle, implementing and maintaining QA automation frameworks.
  • Mentor and Guide Team Members: Mentor and guide other QA team members to maintain a high standard of quality across all deliverables.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in a QA Lead role, working within SDLC cycles and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of QA processes, including use case creation, sanity testing, functional and non-functional testing.
  • Familiarity with Testing Tools: Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman for API validation, SQL clients for database validation, and other QA tools.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to Lead a QA Team: Ability to lead a QA team, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to other team members.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
