About the Role

Rover is seeking a highly skilled Senior Lifecycle Marketing Strategist to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our Lifecycle Marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to enhance the customer messaging experience across email, mobile, and web, contributing to the overall end-to-end customer journey and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to engage and retain pet parents and sitters, including creating and optimizing lifecycle journey campaigns and communication GTM strategies.
  • Be the expert on the sitter audience, working closely with analytics, operations, and consumer research to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to create a seamless customer experience, including creating annual learning agendas and experiments.
  • Monitor lifecycle channel reporting and provide updates on campaign performance, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop business briefs for new lifecycle strategy needs and work with stakeholders to implement projects.
  • Work closely with the UX team to create customer journey maps and develop cohesive pet sitter experiences.
  • Be the liaison between marketing, product, and GTM plans, ensuring alignment and effective communication.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in lifecycle and/or CRM strategy, with a focus on customer engagement and conversion.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful acquisition and engagement plans that drive business growth.
  • Experience using large ESPs, such as Iterable.
  • Customer-focused approach, with the ability to create customer journey maps and develop strategic roadmaps.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage concurrent projects and find innovative solutions to problems.
  • Excellent communication and partnership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze marketing campaigns and data.
  • Self-starter with a passion for staying up-to-date on current lifecycle marketing trends and standard processes.
