About the Role

Rover is seeking a seasoned Lifecycle Marketing Strategist to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our Lifecycle Marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to engage and retain our pet parents and sitters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lifecycle marketing strategies to drive business growth and customer engagement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and plans, and guide teams to deliver quality and on-time results
  • Manage and coach a small team of direct reports to achieve business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in lifecycle marketing
  • Develop and maintain customer journey maps and strategic roadmaps to engage and convert audiences
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in lifecycle and/or CRM marketing with a concentration in strategy
  • Proven track record of implementing successful acquisition and engagement plans that have helped increase business goals
  • Experience using large ESPs (Iterable preferred)
  • Customer-focused and ability to create customer journey maps
  • Ability to organize and prioritize concurrent projects, find innovative ways to resolve problems, and move projects forward
  • Strategic competence and partnership skills are a must
  • Experience defining, tracking, and analyzing marketing campaigns
  • Effective communication skills across the organization
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Social, paid, and digital marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of deliverability standard methodologies
