Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Pathology Solutions Expert to join our team at Leica Biosystems. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering winning Informatics & Workflow based solutions to our customers.

About the Job

The Digital Pathology Solutions Expert is responsible for providing Informatics & Workflow expertise to support the sales organization in winning complex projects in the anatomical pathology (AP) market. This includes developing and deploying standard work tools to drive opportunities through the funnel by leading Need Finding, Current/Future State Analysis, Solution Design and presentation to internal and external customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit customer's IT ecosystem and advise on necessary improvements and change steps to adopt the customers desired solution.
  • Obtain buy-in from important customer IT stakeholders and present the Informatics component of the solution, handling technical objections and clarifications.
  • Plan, present and/or demonstrate hardware/software applications and workflow elements to customers during sales meetings early in the sales process.
  • Attend industry events & conferences/exhibitions and customer workshops as a delegate, trainer and/or subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • University and/or professional qualification around IT & Informatics, Pathology, Histology, Biomedical Science and/or Imaging, or software applications.
  • Successful track record designing and selling informatics-based solutions in hospital/lab environment.
  • Knowledge of Mirth, HL7 bidirectional and unidirectional LIS integration.
  • Previous experience with histology equipment and laboratory processes.

What We Offer

Leica Biosystems offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. The position is eligible for a remote work arrangement, allowing you to work from home. Our company values diversity and offers enriching careers with flexible working arrangements.
