We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Data Center Facilities Manager to join our team at Salute, Inc. in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of planned maintenance and emergency response to emergent issues within our data center.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all SLAs towards customers, ensuring 100% uptime and meeting all standards and procedures.
- Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of planned maintenance, leveraging competent contractor/vendor resources.
- Plan and implement customer requested work in a timely manner, ensuring the customer and Manager of Operations are informed on the status and details of the work.
- Organize all testing of mission critical equipment on the site and ensure that all work being done by contractors/vendors is logged in systems.
- Respond to alarms, critical situations, and emergencies in a proper and timely manner, communicating in a calm and clear manner and in accordance with the emergency response plan.
- At least 7 years of experience in a data center or other critical environment, with a strong background in Electrical and Mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS & STS units, RPP units, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, and other data center equipment.
- Strong communications, both written and verbal, in leading teams and coordinating with peers and other disciplines on driving projects/issues to closure.
- Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/quality of deliverables.
- Superb ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities, meeting committed timelines and leveraging assistance/input from peers.
- Strong and effective team player in working with various disciplines and peer groups, with a strong attention to detail.
