Job Title: Chief Data Center Facilities Engineer

Are you a seasoned data center engineer with extensive electrical and mechanical skills? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Data Center Facilities Engineer to join our team at Salute.

About the Role

The Chief Data Center Facilities Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of planned maintenance, meeting all standards and procedures. This includes leveraging competent contractor/vendor resources, ensuring quality, and maintaining relationships with third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all SLAs towards customers, ensuring 100% uptime and meeting all requirements.
  • Plan and implement customer-requested work in a timely manner, ensuring the Manager of Operations is informed and briefed on all planned and corrective work.
  • Organize all testing of mission-critical equipment on the site and ensure all work is logged in systems.
  • Communicate effectively with the team, peers, and other disciplines to drive projects/issues to closure.
  • Monitor the site to ensure safety standards are met and respond to emergencies in a timely and proper manner.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience in a data center or critical environment.
  • LV/HV authorized to switch certificate.
  • Mechanical and/or Electrical training/education, with a focus on power.
  • Good observation skills, problem-solving ability, and verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
