Chief Data Center Facilities Engineer

Are you a seasoned data center professional with a passion for electrical and mechanical systems?
Salute, a global leader in data center services, is seeking a Chief Data Center Facilities Engineer to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all SLAs towards customers, ensuring 100% uptime for temperature, humidity, power, PUE/WUE, and related services.
  • Plan and implement customer-requested work in a timely manner, ensuring that all work is logged in systems and done in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Respond to alarms, critical situations, and emergencies in a proper and timely manner, communicating clearly and calmly in accordance with our emergency response plan.
  • Take initiative to improve quality and efficiency standards for all equipment in the data center, finding ways to deliver cost savings without sacrificing quality.
