About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Data Center Facilities Engineer to join our team at Salute. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and Maintain Data Center Equipment: Ensure that all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center is operating at peak efficiency.
  • Plan and Implement Maintenance: Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with Vendors: Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Ensure Uptime and Quality: Ensure that data center equipment maintains better than 99.999% uptime and meets all quality and safety standards.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with customers, management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Experience and Education: At least 7 years of experience in data center operations or a related field, with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering).
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Language Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
