Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Chief Engineer to join our team at Salute. As a key member of our data center operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, including electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure 100% uptime for our customers.
  • Oversee the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of planned maintenance, meeting all standards and procedures.
  • Plan and implement customer-requested work in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all work being done by contractors/vendors is logged in systems and follows approved procedures.
  • Respond to alarms, critical situations, and emergencies in a timely and proper manner.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and follow emergency response plans.
  • Identify opportunities to increase energy efficiency and reduce costs without compromising quality or uptime.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in electrical and mechanical engineering, with a focus on data center operations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
