Job Summary

Salute, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Facilities Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data center operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of planned maintenance and corrective work in our data centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure 100% uptime for our customers.
  • Plan and implement customer requested work in a timely manner, ensuring that the customer and Manager of Operations are informed on the status and details of the work.
  • Prepare and implement detailed Method of Procedure (MOP) for all work being done by contractors/vendors.
  • Organize and conduct testing of mission critical equipment on site.
  • Ensure that all work being done by contractors/vendors is logged in systems and is being done in accordance with the approved MOP.
  • Respond to alarms, critical situations, and emergencies in a proper and timely manner, communicating in a calm and clear manner and in accordance with the emergency response plan.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in electrical and mechanical engineering, with a focus on data center operations.
  • Proven track record of ensuring high levels of uptime and efficiency in data center operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to plan and implement complex projects, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
