About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at Reconocida empresa. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting our business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Participate in the design, development, and implementation of new products and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Provide legal assistance and guidance to various departments, including commercial and operational teams.
  3. Review and update operational and commercial processes to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  4. Contribute to digitalization and innovation projects, leveraging your expertise in banking law.
  5. Participate in regulatory projects, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  6. Maintain a deep understanding of regulatory and legal topics, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Spanish Law, with a fully qualified lawyer status in Spain.
  2. LLM in Banking Law (desirable).
  3. Excellent judgment, proactive, innovative, and customer-obsessed.
  4. Strong team player with great people skills, able to collaborate effectively with various departments.
  5. +10 years of experience in banking legal environment, with relevant experience from a law firm or in-house in a financial institution.
  6. Proven experience in banking and/or investment products, particularly in regulation related to contracting banking/investment products remotely and consumer protection laws.
  7. MS advanced level is required.
  8. Fluent in English (C1).
