This is a full-time position at Eticas, a pioneering company in the algorithmic auditing industry. The annual gross salary for this role will be commensurate with experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated leader to head our finance and HR functions. This is a key leadership role within our Senior Management Team, requiring the ability to build professional processes, elaborate accurate information, supervise administration processes, and improve financial work efficiency.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Elaborating financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting;
  • Working closely with and supervising accounting/tax/payroll outsource agencies in Spain and the USA;
  • Building and implementing robust FP&A processes and a reliable accounting system to ensure accurate financial reporting for better decision-making;
  • Managing cash flow and ensuring adequate funds for operations and future forecasted requirements;
  • Developing and implementing HR processes supporting company growth objectives;
  • Managing recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial and HR strategies with overall company objectives;
  • Leading the development and implementation of processes and systems supporting growth;
  • Managing the finance and HR team, providing leadership and guidance to team members;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have more than 8 years of leadership experience in running the Finance department in start-ups or socially driven fast-growing organizations, with a proven ability to navigate risk, uncertainty, and rapid action.

You should also have a good understanding of Spanish financial obligations, including annual accounts, taxes, and payroll administration; strong finance acumen, accounting, and financial modelling expertise; and some experience supporting investor deals.

A highly strategic thinker, you should be able to implement financial and HR strategies that align with our ambitious targets and growth objectives, including team development.

You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, both for internal and external stakeholders, including investors, board members, executive leadership, and clients.
