Job Title: IT Service Costing Specialist

The IT Service Costing Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the precise management of IT costs across the global IT organization. This position will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining transparency for IT service costs, consumption, and business value.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement a cost management framework to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting of IT costs.
  • Execute cost variance analysis and identify root causes for deviations, defining correction measures with management and tracking execution.
  • Work closely with colleagues in Group Finance to ensure timely and correct delivery of inputs for IT to Group Finance processes.
  • Drive strategic cost analytics and prepare business cases to support investment decisions between senior business leaders, IT leadership, and finance.
  • Assume business ownership for relevant service costing and service portfolio IT solutions, capturing requirements, developing solution roadmaps, and liaising with technical teams and suppliers.


Requirements:


  • Experience in service costing, cost allocations, and management reporting with a strong focus on business case calculation.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills for data modeling and analysis.
  • Combination of IT service management and IT finance knowledge.
  • Good understanding of IT service delivery chains: applications, infrastructure, and workplace.
  • Ability to shape storylines to enable strategic decisions.
  • Proven experience in working in cross-functional, international environments across all hierarchy levels, including senior management.
  • Pro-active personality with strong communication skills and ability to drive change.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under time pressure.
  • Proficient in XLS and PowerPoint.
  • Ideal experience in ServiceNow (SPM module and/or CSDM) and/or Technology Business Management (TBM) framework.
