Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Finance - Europe to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the location hotel finance team on finance operations and assisting with task force assignments across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of our target customer and property employees.
  • Provide financial expertise to enable the successful implementation of our brand service strategy and brand initiatives while maximizing return on investment.
  • Engage in strategic planning and decision making, including developing means to improve profit, analyzing information, and creating annual budget plans.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive annual business plan aligned with our company's and brand's strategic direction.
  • Oversee internal, external, and regulatory audit processes, and conduct annual performance appraisals with direct reports.
  • Anticipate and deliver on the needs of key stakeholders, including owners, corporate, guests, and employees.
  • Ensure profits and losses are documented accurately, monitor all taxes, and submit reports in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major, or Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish or Italian or French.
  • Experience in hotel industry as DOF in the DOF position for a couple of years.
  • Flexibility to travel (90% of the time).
  • Positive attitude and easy to connect with the team.
