Job Title: Europe Bench Director Of Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting the location hotel finance team on finance operations and assisting with task force assignments across Europe.

The successful candidate will champion, develop, and implement property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of our target customer and property employees.

You will provide financial expertise to enable the successful implementation of our brand service strategy and brand initiatives while maximizing return on investment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive annual business plans aligned with our company's and brand's strategic direction.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve operations, and profitability.
  • Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocate sound financial/business decision making.
  • Communicate strategic goals, focus, and owner priorities to subordinates in a clear and precise manner.
  • Oversee internal, external, and regulatory audit processes.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals with direct reports according to standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major OR Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish or Italian or French.
  • Experience in hotel industry as DOF in the DOF position for a couple of years.
  • Flexibility to travel (90% of the time).
