Job Title: Europe Finance Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Europe Finance Director to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial expertise to support the successful implementation of our brand service strategy and brand initiatives across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement property-wide strategies to deliver products and services that meet or exceed the needs and expectations of our target customer and property employees.
  • Provide financial expertise to support the location hotel finance team on finance operations and assist with task force assignments across Europe.
  • Champion, develop, and implement property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand's target customer and property employees.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and productivity improvements.
  • Lead and manage finance teams to achieve business objectives and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, corporate, and guests, to understand their needs and priorities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to manage business risks and ensure the integrity of financial data.

Requirements:

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major.
  • Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish or Italian or French.
  • Experience in hotel industry as DOF.
  • Flexibility to travel (90% of the time).
  • Positive attitude and easy to connect with the team.
