**About the Opportunity**
We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive global rewards strategy at N26. This strategic role will play a crucial part in driving employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
The successful candidate will join our dynamic team and be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering on a global rewards and benefits strategy that supports our current team members. They will work closely with the Director of Labour Relations, Employment Law and Rewards and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-talented leader who can drive change, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and lead by example. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rewards and benefits, preferably in a global financial institution or high-growth tech company.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a global rewards and benefits strategy that aligns with N26's business objectives and industry best practices.
- Design and manage N26's ESOP scheme with a focus on clear documentation and information management.
- Act as the key liaison between the company and employee representative bodies (works councils) in the rewards area.
- Analyze current manual processes related to rewards and compensation, identifying opportunities for automation that streamline workflows, reduce administrative overhead, and improve the overall employee experience.
- Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with relevant local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular market analyses to benchmark N26's compensation and benefits against industry peers.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive positioning.
- Develop clear communication strategies to educate employees about compensation structures and benefits offerings.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of related experience in rewards and benefits in a global-matrix organization, preferably in a global financial institution or high-growth tech company.
- Direct exposure to employee representative bodies (works councils) in the rewards area.
Estimated Salary:** €120,000 - €150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of expertise and responsibility required for this role. **Location:** Berlin, Germany or remote within the EU.
