About the Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Strategic Rewards Leader to craft, implement and deliver a global rewards and benefits strategy that supports our team of professionals. This role involves building, leading and developing a dedicated team of experts who provide expertise across reward, benefits and compensation frameworks. Reporting into the Director of Labour Relations, Employment Law and Rewards, you will work on key projects, directly support the Management Board and Supervisory Board on all rewards-related topics, and take ownership seriously.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing a data-driven approach to design a rewards and benefits strategy and key rewards products at N26, identifying opportunities to present, inform and educate on high-visibility topics ranging from salary review cycles, variable compensation to the gender pay gap.
- Designing and managing N26's ESOP scheme with a strong focus on clear documentation and information management.
- Serving as the key liaison between the company and employee representative bodies (works councils) in the rewards area to ensure transparency, compliance, and alignment between the involved parties.
- Analyzing current manual processes related to rewards and compensation, identifying opportunities for automation that streamline workflows, reduce administrative overhead, and improve the overall employee experience.
- Acting as a key partner to the N26 management and executive team on behalf of rewards, reporting back on key milestones, roadblocks, and team KPIs.
- Maintaining compliance with relevant local and international regulations regarding compensation and benefits programs.
- Conducting regular market analyses to benchmark N26's compensation and benefits against industry peers.
- Utilizing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive positioning.
- Developing clear communication strategies to educate employees about compensation structures and benefits offerings.
- Leading and mentoring the rewards team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Collaborating closely with HR, finance, and executive leadership to integrate rewards strategies with broader organizational objectives.
Requirements
- A background of 8+ years in rewards and benefits in a global-matrix organisation, preferably in a global financial institution or high-growth tech company with direct exposure to employee representative bodies (works councils) in the rewards area.
Salary Estimate: €120,000 - €180,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location considerations.
