Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise and management in areas related to maintenance. Communicate and escalate to management related to trailer, tool, and equipment issues. Maintain quality standards and repair. Request tools and/or equipment from supervisor or shop manager. Perform all necessary shop activities for the proper functioning of the shop in consultation with supervisor or shop manager. Elevate service quality in the shop. Find solutions to complex problems. Communicate resolution of complex failures through communication with supervisor or shop manager. Provide unsolicited advice to immediate supervisor leading to better results and continuity of the organization. Ensure timely and correct communication with the customer. Complete additional courses if requested. Replace brake pads/shoes/drums/rotor, adjust brakes. Rebuild caliper, replace valves, replace adjusters, replace airbag, spring. Replace bulb, lens, wiring, rewire central lighting box, add lighting. ARC welding, wheel abrasives, grinder, repair MIG/MAG, replace corner post, post, entrance door, partition. Replace anchoring/spray, replace support legs. Inspect and service (lubricate) all wheel bearings. Replace bearings/cups. Check/adjust tire pressure, inspect tire wear, replace tire, re-profile. Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of technical experience and related to the industry.
  • Middle level of technical training in truck and trailer.
  • Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders.
