About Cameco

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our maintenance team at McArthur River. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing predictive and preventative maintenance checks, completing repairs and overhauls on equipment and piping systems, and troubleshooting equipment failures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure safe and reliable production
  • Complete repairs and overhauls on equipment and piping systems
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures and document repairs
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Inter-provincial journeyperson industrial mechanic ticket
  • Three to five years of industrial experience
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
