Technical Service and Development Engineer for Ion Exchange Applications

At DuPont, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that make a real impact. As a Technical Service and Development Engineer for Ion Exchange Applications, you will play a critical role in promoting our cutting-edge technologies and applications in the water treatment industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain expertise on ion exchange resins and their applications in water treatment, providing technical guidance and consultation to internal teams and external clients.
- Work closely with customers to select appropriate products, optimize system designs, and provide post-sales support for select projects.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and develop new product offerings, ensuring documentation of opportunities and customer interactions.
- Conduct laboratory and field trials to generate and validate product performance data, striving for scientific innovation to bring competitive edge and capture value.
- Collaborate with account managers to promote products and solutions to key customers and partners.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and customer seminars, providing training and technical support on system operation, maintenance, and ion exchange resins handling.
- Present technical proposals and solutions to customers, addressing their queries and concerns.
- Conduct feasibility studies, analyze water quality data, and recommend appropriate technologies, equipment, and operating conditions to achieve desired treatment outcomes.
- Compile and update product documentation, including case histories and customer success cases.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred.
- Highly proficient in English, with local language skills a plus.
- 10 years of experience in technical functions, such as Technical Sales, Technical Service, or Project Management in water treatment.
- Relevant technical experience with ion exchange resins theory and practical application in water treatment, familiarity with water quality parameters, and contaminants commonly found in various water sources.
- Implement industry best practices of work and personal safety, performing pilot tests and knowledgeable about standard methods.
- Ready to attend business trips, up to 25% of the time.
- Customer-centric attitude and capability to build customer relationships and trust.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Strong in digital technology and data analysis.
- Good interpersonal skills and capability to work in a multinational environment.
