Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Functional Safety Engineer to join our team in Tarragona, Spain. As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our clients' vehicles by applying the ISO 26262 standard. You will work closely with our Electronics Department to design and develop safe and reliable vehicle systems.
Responsibilities- Functional Safety Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of vehicle features to identify potential hazards and assess risks.
- Safety Goal Definition: Define safety goals and functional safety requirements to prevent hazardous events.
- Technical Safety Requirements: Define technical safety requirements and safety architectural design of vehicle features.
- Safety Validation: Validate vehicle features to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Procedure Development: Develop and improve procedures and methodologies for functional safety analysis and validation.
- Project Management: Support project definition and quotations, including communication with clients and internal meetings.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 standard
- Experience in Electric/Electronic or other development areas
- Excellent team-working, organization, and communication skills
- Knowledge of traditional Office suites (MS Office, Outlook)
- Willingness to travel
