About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our European Professional Services team as a Solution Engineer, where you'll work closely with sales teams to support the sale of complex technical products and services in a consultative manner. Your expertise will be invaluable in understanding customer requirements, challenges, and aspirations, and articulating the value and benefits of our solutions.

You'll play a critical role in building customer confidence in our technical solutions, addressing all technical objections and concerns throughout the sales cycle. Functional responsibilities may include pre-proposal discussions, developing customized client proposals, demonstrations, and presentations, as well as consulting on technical sales strategy for customers and assisting in proposal preparation and implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand customer requirements, challenges, and aspirations

  • Build customer confidence in our technical solutions
  • Address technical objections and concerns throughout the sales cycle
Requirements

We're looking for a highly skilled professional with:

  • Strong written and spoken English language skills
  • Knowledge and experience of acquiring schemes, gateways, etc., ideally within the PAN EU payment industry landscape
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Demonstrated consultative, solutions-based selling background and experience in a role such as Solution Engineer, Solution Consulting, or Pre-Sales
  • Experience working with Enterprise-level customers and partners
  • Ability to articulate solutions to different audiences
  • Understanding of the principles of a full omnichannel payment solution
  • High-level understanding of API & Integration protocols
  • Second European language skills
