We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer - Thermal to join our vibrant team.

The Field Service Engineer - Thermal is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our products at client locations. This role involves fostering relationships with customers, sales representatives, distributors, and other stakeholders within the designated area. Additionally, the engineer will manage the assigned spare parts inventory and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for the legal commerce of products and services provided by Vertiv.

Key Responsibilities


• Respond professionally to all service requests during working hours.


• Understand and adhere to all protocols outlined in the Field Procedure Manual.


• Conduct all tasks safely and in accordance with established safety policies and local regulations.


• Keep the dispatch center updated on your schedule and the status of ongoing assignments.


• Ensure proper tracking of spare parts following established procedures.


• Submit paperwork accurately and promptly, and debrief on-site jobs when applicable.


• Maintain the integrity of customer and installed base databases by reporting discrepancies.


• Identify and promote sales or service opportunities to the appropriate departments.


• Actively pursue technical leads and service business prospects.


• Serve as a key contact for major clients during emergencies and troubleshooting scenarios.


• Collaborate closely with the department supervisor to support daily operational tasks.


• Be available for weekend and night shifts in compliance with local labor laws.

Qualifications for Success


• Educational Background: High school diploma in Air Conditioning or Electrical Engineering.


• Language Proficiency: Native proficiency in the local language; good command of English.


• Technical Skills: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical service role within the air conditioning sector; proficient in computer usage; well-organized and capable of performing under pressure; flexible working hours.
