About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Executive to join our team at Yokogawa Electric Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the digital transformation and decarbonization of the process industries by enabling the implementation of our cutting-edge simulation, analytics, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively influence the digital transformation and decarbonization of the process industries by enabling the implementation of our cutting-edge simulation, analytics, and cloud technologies.
  • Set the strategy, identify opportunities, and close sales for each target client in conjunction with regional leadership and internal teams.
  • Participate in formulating the strategy and identifying key deals to ensure continued financial health and maximum value creation for KBC.
  • Develop and implement a relationship management plan for strategic, complex potential accounts to build key relationships at local and national levels.
  • Consult with customer representatives to identify their outcomes and introduce relevant KBC specialists to gather and analyze complex customer data.
  • Develop a personal network of senior managers within KBC's target sectors and represent KBC at business sector events.
  • Lead a cross-functional internal team to configure complex, tailored product-and-services solutions that meet the customer's mid- to long-term needs.
  • Promote customer focus by developing internal marketing plans and working collaboratively with other departments to improve internal relationships and build strong external customer relationships.
  • Manage ongoing relationships to ensure the customer's needs are met.
  • Maintain relevant data and records within KBC's corporate CRM system.
  • Comply with all KBC policies and procedures and act as a role model to other members of the team.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team.

Requirements

  • Technical experience is essential with a BS or MS degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering qualification preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are a pre-requisite.
  • A deep understanding of sales processes, delivery background, and opportunity management is essential.
