About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to join our team at Reconocida Empresa. As a key member of our Legal Department, you will provide expert legal support and guidance to our business units, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal services to internal clients, including contract review and negotiation, corporate governance, and risk management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies to protect the company's interests and minimize legal exposure.
  • Work closely with external counsel to ensure effective and efficient legal representation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Legal Department's services and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Law degree and membership in the Law Society of Ontario (LSO).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate law, with a strong background in contract law, corporate governance, and risk management.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, presentation, and negotiating skills.
  • Strong business sense, commercial judgment, and decision-making ability.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, project management, and organizational skills.
