Job Title: Technical Content Developer, AutoCAD

At Autodesk, we're seeking a highly skilled Technical Content Developer to join our Content Strategy & Experience team in Customer Technical Success (CTS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a catalog of product support content for AutoCAD, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality product expertise through impactful content experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teams to identify needs using analytics, customer feedback, and business objectives, and determine product support help and learn audience-centric omni-channel content plans for AutoCAD across the post-purchase journey.
  • Create, edit, and direct new content creation and improvements to increase consumption and findability of AutoCAD support content through digital channels.
  • Review existing AutoCAD content to identify gaps and requirements for further development.
  • Ensure the right AutoCAD content is available to all users at the right time, by getting ahead of customers' demand, de-duplication of efforts, and content reuse.
  • Design and implement programs to match customer needs with appropriate content formats and distribution channels, ensuring positive, meaningful interactions with our products and services.
  • Manage new products content integrations and products rebrand.
  • Monitor technical content development initiatives, learn, and provide actionable recommendations for enhancing content effectiveness.
  • Guide and train CTS staff on best practices for content creation and improvements, aiming for efficiency and quality.
  • Represent CTS at industry events internally and externally (Tech series, booth, product overviews).
Requirements:
  • 8+ years relevant work experience, especially in Content Management or Content Development.
  • 5+ years in a customer-facing or product development role with AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of content management, content design, technical writing.
  • Experience designing omni-channel audience-centric content plans and implementing them, including audience analysis and managing the full end-to-end content lifecycle including writing and editing clear and concise technical content.
  • Solid project management experience managing projects involving several teams from brainstorming to conclusion, with demonstrated ability to turn strategic plans into actionable tasks.
  • Analytical, solution-focused, and practical approach, considering goals and colleagues' priorities to achieve the right outcome for customers.
  • Understanding the needs from our customers and partners, and translating these into impactful content strategies and solutions.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), authoring tools, and other relevant software applications.
  • Experience implementing search engine optimization (SEO) strategies an advantage.
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs) an advantage.
  • Ability to communicate with impact, simplify complex concepts, and collaborate positively across different levels and geographies.
  • Independent approach, proactiveness, and a learning and improvement mindset.
  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
