We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join our global Wind team at Ramboll. As a key member of our Business Intelligence & Sales function, you will play a critical role in driving project-specific bid processes end-to-end and ensuring the timely submission of high-quality, client-centric proposals.
As a Bid Manager, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers and tender teams to develop and execute successful proposals, and apply your commercial and technical expertise to support account management and regional commercial activities. Your contributions will also foster efficient team collaborations across the wind division.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively lead the entire bid process, coordinating the efforts of Ramboll's global engineering and advisory teams in the wind division to ensure the submission of high-quality, customer-tailored proposals.
- Support the creation of a bid strategy by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, developing compelling value propositions, and guiding tender teams in planning and creating proposals aligned with agreed strategies.
- Plan, prepare, and compile compelling, well-written, and precise proposals and bid documents.
- Utilize and manage Ramboll's internal tools and processes (e.g., CRM, project excellence, decision gates) to track and develop opportunities efficiently, streamline project team communication, and consolidate required inputs from relevant teams.
- Enhance our sales processes, tools, templates, and standard contents to boost efficiency and incorporate industry best practices.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in proposal or bid management, preferably in the energy sector. You should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field or applicable disciplines, and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (C1 level expected).
You should be an experienced team player with strong project management skills, able to work with minimal supervision. You should also have a customer-focused approach, as well as a solution-oriented and structured way of working. Familiarity with public/private procurement processes and commercial, contractual, and execution models is also essential.
