Research Account Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Account Manager to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for managing medium to large scale secondary and digital analytics research projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage research projects from start to finish, working on multiple projects concurrently across various sectors and methodologies.
  2. Analyze media coverage, including traditional print, online, and social media.
  3. Monitor key brands and topics for our clients, including sensitive ones.
  4. Perform media measurement for internal and external communication actions or campaigns.
  5. Identify key influencers and trends relevant to our clients.
  6. Benchmark our clients with their direct competition.
  7. Conduct landscape and whitespace analysis for our clients to define their positioning in the market.
  8. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data, as well as historical performance, to produce actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Requirements:
  1. College or university degree in business, communications, social or political science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
  2. Previous experience in research, preferably in an agency or research institute.
  3. Substantial hands-on experience with online social listening, audience analysis, or data/statistical analysis, preferably with exposure to consumer insights and media research.
  4. Expert knowledge of a mix of tools, including listening tools, audience profiling, search and web analysis, data analysis, and trends analysis.
  5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and clearly communicate patterns and research findings.
  6. Experience creating presentations using visual storytelling and presenting to clients and managing stakeholder relationships.
  7. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as strong project management skills.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong understanding of fundamental media marketing principles.
