At Lighthouse, we're revolutionizing the hospitality sector with our commercial platform. Our mission is to simplify data and transform complexity into confidence with actionable market insights, business intelligence, and pricing tools that maximize revenue.

We've recently secured 80 million in series B funding and are expanding internationally. We're seeking a full-time Business Development Manager based in Spain who can help us achieve our ambitious growth targets.

About the Role

  • Sourcing potential client opportunities in the Italian market through cold calling, email campaigns, and industry network groups
  • Responding to product enquiries, referrals, and leads in a timely and effective manner
  • Creating tailored proposals for clients and organizing face-to-face or online product demonstrations and advanced training sessions
  • Keeping track of existing client relationships and generating new sales through upselling products according to client needs
  • Negotiating contracts and maintaining a balance between optimal service, value for the client, and Lighthouse's profit margins

You Will Have Impact

  • Building and executing a business development plan to achieve business aims and sales targets
  • Developing innovative strategies to maximize results and identifying shortfalls in the process
  • Providing client feedback to the Product Development team to inform product reviews

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, Communication, Economics, or other relevant fields
  • 2-4 years of experience in business development in the hospitality business (Tech Sales)
  • Passion for the travel industry and built networks in the Italian market
  • Hunter mentality to find, solicit, and drive new business to our company
