The energy transition presents a multitude of intriguing challenges daily, necessitating innovative solutions in the diverse landscape of sales activities. Our primary focus is on our clients, engaging with them regularly to discuss new projects, formulate proposals, and conduct negotiations both remotely and in person. Project meetings and presentations of innovative solutions are also key components of this role.

Responsibilities will be fulfilled at client locations, in the office, or potentially from home. The chosen candidate will manage their own client portfolio while collaborating closely with the sales team, manufacturing units, and the broader Grid technology ecosystem to ensure collective success.

The primary goal of this role is to enhance the opportunity pipeline and secure orders in both new and existing markets for substations, FACTs, and various solutions offered by Siemens Energy, thereby supporting our clients through the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

- Assume responsibility for the entire tender process for project opportunities, from Lead Management to Project Handover, ensuring coordination with all involved parties to deliver technically sound and commercially compliant proposals.

- Develop a Bid/Win Strategy and create technical solutions tailored to customer requirements.

- Manage project bid clarifications and negotiations with clients.

- Build and sustain partnerships with key clients.

- Ensure adherence to the Sales and Tendering processes in accordance with Siemens Energy standards, maintaining compliance and ethical practices.

- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, managers, and colleagues, utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, service teams, and sales groups to address configuration, scope, and technical modifications during the quoting phase.

Qualifications

- A degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

- Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in HV substations or FACTS solutions, with a solid understanding of customer business drivers and process requirements. Project management experience is a plus.

- Willingness to engage in regular client visits.

- Proficient communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to engage fluently and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, leading multidisciplinary teams and influencing cross-functional collaboration.

- Strong organizational skills, with a disciplined approach to planning and resource management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential.

- A team player capable of communicating effectively across various levels of clients, peers, and team members.

- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

- Ability to work in a precise and structured manner.

- High aptitude for collaborative work across diverse teams and international settings, fostering a positive team environment and motivating others towards shared and individual goals.

- Capacity to be self-sufficient (able to work independently) and quickly grasp new concepts.

- Knowledge of EHS principles and a commitment to quality standards.
