The RoleJob Purpose
We are seeking a UX Designer Clinical Insights to join our Roche Information Solutions (RIS) User Experience team. This position will report to the Sub-chapter lead of User Experience Design & Validation (for Clinical Insights) and will work closely with UX researchers, product managers, other UX designers, and engineers from initial concept and strategy through the execution of interaction and visual design.
As a UX Designer Clinical Insights, you will play a critical role in defining our digital experiences. You will be responsible for tackling tough problems with elegant solutions, working with a cross-functional team to design a delightful user experience by translating product requirements into engaging design concepts and simple interaction models.
Key Responsibilities- Design intuitive user experiences that promote usability and optimize the user experience of our products.
- Concept and deliver initial concept designs, user flows, wireframes, usage scenarios, user journeys, and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Conduct heuristic evaluations on existing products to identify design problems and devise smart solutions.
- Work with product managers to understand business needs/priorities and balance these with user requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers on interface implementation to ensure interfaces are held to a consistently high standard of user-centered design.
- Partner with user researchers to influence insight studies related to the discovery and understanding of unresolved interface problems and needs.
- Continuously challenge the effectiveness of design, stay up to date on behavioral analytics, monitor success metrics, and recommend changes as appropriate.
- Contribute to the overall design framework to ensure consistent experiences across our suite of products.
- Work seamlessly with other designers, whether part of the in-house team or an external agency.
- Closely collaborate with the Medical and Regulatory teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
