About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Architect to join our team at Wipro Limited. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
- Assist in the maintenance of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Data Extensions, SQL, AMPscript, and SSJS.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to automate and optimize marketing processes.
- Configure data import and work with customers and platform data (SQL, views, Send Log).
- Write basic SQL, including join statements, and create dynamic, personalized marketing assets using various scripting languages (HTML, Server-Side JavaScript, AMPscript).
- Build Marketing Cloud web experience, data forms, custom preference, subscription pages, and work through and resolve scenarios using REST and SOAP API.
- Perform Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administration activities and develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track campaign effectiveness and sales performance.
- Provide technical expertise and best practice guidance on Salesforce Marketing Cloud development and integrations.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and to foster continuous improvement of code quality.
- Configure and set up data models (data extensions, shared data extensions, Contact model) and collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand, and document technical requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, required.
- Significant experience in marketing technology with at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with and certification in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Knowledge of Marketing Cloud features, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Web Studio, and Audience Builder.
- Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud APIs.
- Experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator.
- Understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
- Experience in practicing agile methodologies, including scrum and continuous integration environments.
- Demonstrated ability to distil business requirements into solution architecture and system design across marketing and sales systems.
- Strong knowledge of business modelling and process documentation.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce ecosystem, data models, and common integration points with marketing systems.
- Ability to lead and facilitate technical requirements gathering and design sessions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Salesforce Certifications - Preferred (Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Certification, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator Certification, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification).
