Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Finance Senior Associate to join our team at Velocity Global Contingent Work Board. This is a remote position in Europe, and we are looking for a detail-oriented and problem-solving individual who can assist in the day-to-day finance operations while driving process improvements to increase efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis

Assist with the local month-end close processes and maintenance of general ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely monthly financial reporting deliverables, including reconciliations, balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.

Accounting and Compliance

Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial insights and forecasts, ensure compliance with accounting principles, company procedures, and relevant regulations, and maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.

Financial Operations and Support

Oversight and support of day-to-day finance operations within the EMEA Region, including the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents.

Process Improvement and Automation

Identify and assist with process improvements and automation projects across the EMEA region, and assist with special projects based upon the needs of the finance department.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a remote team.
