Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Finance Officer to join our team at Etihad Airways. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial reporting, compliance, and business partnering support to our Europe region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all financial and tax compliance matters are met and risks of penalty exposures are managed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements across financial operations, including AP, AR, Revenue Accounting, and GL.
  • Support the Manager in ensuring all financial and tax compliance requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Continually identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities in the region.
  • Support in annual budget cycle and provide financial guidance and advice to Department heads in the Region.
  • Monitor and share financial performance against budget and provide commentary to explain any variances.
  • Support the development of financial and operational KPI's and participate in project aimed at improving business processes and efficiencies.
  • Participate in meetings and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
  • At least 4+ years of post-graduation industry experience.
  • Multilingual - English + Spanish or French speaking.
  • Finance related bachelor's degree as a minimum.
  • Minimum of 2+ Years of related experience in finance and tax within the Europe is required.
  • Experience working in SAP systems would be an advantage.
  • A confident communicator across different stakeholder levels from managers to senior executives.
