Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. As a key member of our Customer Care function, you will be responsible for providing frontline support to our customers by resolving technical issues and providing expert troubleshooting services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, tools, and industry trends to provide effective technical support.
  • Provide timely and professional support to customers through various communication channels, including phone, email, and on-site visits.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base articles to support customer support efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical support or customer-facing role, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both verbal and written.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in diagnosing and repairing medical equipment, preferably in a field service or biomedical engineering role.
  • IT repair experience in a laboratory setting or as a field service engineer.
