Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Manager to lead our international team of Service Engineers and Supervisors. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of hi-tech systems, ensuring customer satisfaction, team development, process optimization, and business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for effective customer support in the region.
  • Achieve high levels of customer allegiance through exceptional service delivery.
  • Build, lead, and sustain a motivated team of Field Service Engineers and Supervisors, assigned to support different service areas and product lines.
  • Maintain professional service support and processes via qualified personnel or external providers.
  • Drive operational and business performance measures, ensuring alignment with plan and budgetary requirements.
  • Partner with commercial teams to deliver customer deals that meet/exceed customer expectations and are implemented profitably.
  • Effectively manage critical issues and represent the company in a positive, professional manner in all encounters with customers.
  • Drive high-quality and continuous improvement using our Practical Process Improvement Business System.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or advanced degree in business, marketing, mathematics, or sciences.
  • 10+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years in a management role.
  • Thorough understanding and extensive experience in working with diverse service providers.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Good people leadership skills, team orientation, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to energize the team to accomplish goals and integrate across matrix organizations.
  • Comprehensive computer skills, including database development and searching, PowerPoint, Word, and spreadsheets.
