Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Manager to lead our international team of Service Engineers and Supervisors. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of hi-tech systems to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively support customers in the region.
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Build, lead, and sustain a high-performing team of Field Service Engineers and Supervisors.
  • Maintain professional service support and processes through qualified personnel or external providers.
  • Drive operational and business performance measures.
  • Lead regional profit and loss (P&L) in line with plan and budgetary requirements.
  • Partner with commercial teams to deliver customer deals that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Effectively manage critical issues.
  • Represent the company in a positive and professional manner in all interactions with customers, both internally and externally.
  • Drive high-quality and continuous improvement using our Practical Process Improvement Business System.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, marketing, mathematics, or sciences.
  • 10+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years in a management role.
  • Thorough understanding and extensive experience in working with diverse service providers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills in German and English.
  • Good people leadership skills, team orientation, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to energize the team to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to integrate and work across matrix organizations.
  • Comprehensive computer skills, including database development and searching, PowerPoint, Word, and spreadsheets.
  • Honest, independent, self-disciplined, innovative, and responsible.
