About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Head of Product to join our team at Sportradar. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of our product and ensuring that it meets the strategic goals of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with senior management to develop a product that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce and manage the product roadmap.
  • Act as the ambassador for the MSS product and primary contact for queries related to the product.
  • Manage a team of Product Owners to drive the product forward in the market.
  • Break down product initiatives into requirements and Epics.
  • Understand the business value behind feature requests and create a suitable business case for Initiatives and Epics.
  • Ensure that projects stay on track to achieve delivery commitments.
  • Work with the development team to monitor progress and ensure correct functionality.
  • Participate in software release demonstrations and collect feedback for future development.
  • Continuously research market trends, customer usage behavior, and technology advancements to maintain market-leading products.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of product management experience, with a focus on overseeing player account management or user authentication platforms.
  • 1 year of experience as a Head of Product.
  • Industry knowledge in gaming or gambling is mandatory.
  • Strong skills in data analytics, data architectures, and a deep understanding of data-related concepts, technologies, tools, and platforms.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player needs and behaviors.
