Job Description

As a Front Office Supervisor at Accor Hotels, you will be responsible for overseeing the reception team and ensuring a smooth process. This includes training and induction of new staff, receiving feedback from guests, and handling complex enquiries and complaints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the reception team and ensure a smooth process
  • Train and induct new staff to agreed standards
  • Receive feedback from guests and ensure quick and effective handling of issues
  • Deal with complex enquiries and complaints from clients relating to reception functions
  • Manage daily issues that may arise within the team
  • Participate in monthly team meetings
  • Communicate effectively with other team members
Reception Duties:
  • Extend a warm and efficient welcome to customers
  • Check in and check out of guests' procedures on the Information Technology system
  • Respond to phone calls and occasionally take bookings
  • Collaborate closely with all hotel departments to share or acquire important information about special guest requests and needs
  • Room guests and describe room features
  • Create cash register and daily closing
  • Invoice control and credit handling
  • Answer and fulfill all wishes and inquiries of guests
  • Complaint handling
  • Embody the Heartists spirit in interactions with customers
Health and Safety:
  • Supervise the cleanliness of the workplace and the proper functioning of equipment
  • Know and follow procedures in the event of a fire evacuation
  • Know and apply sustainable development programme policy
  • Ensure compliance with service, quality, and hygiene standards
