We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to lead our Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) category strategy across all businesses. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost-reduction strategies, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing the total cost of ownership (TCO) within the category.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement category strategies based on analysis of internal and external factors.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute cost-reduction initiatives.
- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations and contract reviews.
- Oversee the development and implementation of defined strategies in collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO).
- Track compliance with set category strategies and take corrective actions as needed.
- Identify opportunities to reduce TCO and lead supplier management initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in procurement or a related field.
- Knowledge of category management principles and practices.
