Job Description
As a Customer Experience Associate - Front Office, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure an efficient reception experience for guests, including check-in/check-out and complete audit procedures as required
- Keep the Guest Service Manager informed of any relevant feedback from guests and other departments
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
- Attend training courses as required and assist with Night Team training and development efforts
- Demonstrate knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and general product knowledge necessary for daily duties
- Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
- Follow correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
- Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front-of-house equipment and property management systems
- Follow company brand standards
- Assist other departments as necessary
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor
- Knowledge of hotel operations and industry trends
- Familiarity with property management systems and front-of-house equipment
