About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Sourcing and Controlling Specialist to join our IT Sourcing and Vendor Management Department at Sartorius Corporate Administration GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring software, hardware, and IT services that align with our company's strategic objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Procurement of IT Solutions: You will be responsible for procuring software, hardware, and IT services that meet our company's needs and align with our strategic objectives.
  2. Operational Purchasing Activities: You will perform operational purchasing activities, including creating purchase baskets, initiating and tracking purchase orders, and reviewing invoices.
  3. RfX Activities and Contract Negotiation: You will perform RfX activities and negotiate and optimize contract terms and conditions to ensure the best possible outcomes for our company.
  4. Cost Control and Compliance: You will ensure efficient handling of internal cost control guidelines and procedures to maintain compliance and optimize costs.

Requirements
  1. Commercial Background: You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship and have relevant further training as a specialist or business economist with proven professional experience in (IT) purchasing.
  2. IT Sourcing Experience: Ideally, you have experience in IT sourcing, including software, SaaS solutions, IT services, IT equipment, and hardware.
  3. Technical Skills: You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and have operational knowledge of P2P and purchase requisition software.
  4. Soft Skills: You are characterized by analytical thinking, an independent way of working, the ability to work in a team, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a confident and self-assured manner.
  5. Language Skills: Business fluent in English and the willingness to travel are essential for this role.
