Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Procurement and Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the strategic sourcing process for IT-related products and services, negotiating enterprise agreements, and driving cost savings and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic sourcing process for IT-related products and services, including hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
  • Influence technology selection through stakeholder partnerships, market intelligence, benchmarks, supplier road-mapping, contract terms, and company strategy.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, negotiating favorable terms and conditions to optimize value and minimize risk.
  • Drive the negotiation of enterprise agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), and contracts with enterprise vendors, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and legal requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and cost avoidance through effective negotiation strategies, volume consolidation, and vendor performance management.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including IT leadership, legal, finance, and business units, to understand their requirements and align sourcing activities with business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments to inform sourcing strategies and identify new opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process efficiencies, evaluate and enhance sourcing processes, tools, and methodologies to drive effectiveness and scalability.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior sourcing team members, fostering their professional development and contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT sourcing, procurement, or vendor management, with a focus on enterprise-level negotiations.
  • Must be able to lead large negotiations with enterprise vendors.
  • Experience negotiating Enterprise Agreements with at least two of the following vendors: AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Workday, and Cisco.
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimization in a complex, multi-vendor IT environment.
  • Experience in developing procurement best practices and implementing procure-to-pay (P2P) systems such as Coupa, Ariba, or other similar platforms.
  • Exceptional influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of drafting, redlining, and negotiating key legal and commercial terms in master agreements.
  • Deep understanding of IT market dynamics, vendor landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong proficiency in English language (written and verbal) is required. Experience working with IT and engineering professionals from different cultures, countries, and languages is a plus.
