Sales and Business Development Manager for Foodservice and Retail Expansion

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our business into the retail and foodservice sectors in Spain and surrounding markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive sales growth and develop strategic relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth in foodservice and retail channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in Spain and surrounding regions, including key decision-makers and influencers
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities in the ice cream mixes, UHT milk and cream, butter, iced coffee, milkshakes, and chocolate milk markets, as well as a wide range of other food products such as sugar, milk powders, vegetable fats, emulsifiers, dextrose, sweeteners, and frozen or liquid fruit products
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure consistent supply of high-quality products from excellent raw materials
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and market penetration goals in key markets
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the food industry, particularly in Spain
  • Extensive distribution/supply chain know-how
  • Ability to set up and execute a business model
  • Proven track record in both foodservice and retail sectors
  • Experience and knowledge in categories such as dairy, beverages, ice cream, and sweet products in the Spanish market
  • Experience in other European markets would be an advantage
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required
