We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director to join our Talent & Careers Department at IE University. In this role, you will play a critical part in connecting our diverse student body with exceptional career opportunities in the sector.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and executing a strategic outreach plan to attract top-tier organizations and enterprises to IE University.
  2. Managing and expanding a portfolio of employer partners, including conducting regular visits and fostering relationships.
  3. Serving as the point of contact for companies with an MBA recruitment initiative in place at Business Schools.
  4. Leveraging alumni networks and faculty expertise to cultivate connections with the market.
  5. Representing IE University nationally and internationally at industry events and conferences (30 to 50% travel required).
  6. Partnering with the marketing team to create compelling communication and marketing plans for recruiting events.
  7. Developing increasing levels of knowledge about specific market trends, corporate strategy, and recruitment expectations of core clients by conducting ongoing research and engagement with company representatives and alumni.
Student Career Preparation

You will also be responsible for:

  1. Conducting advising sessions with MBA candidates interested in sectors within the Diversified Industries division.
  2. Coordinating sector-specific training and events for students interested in Diversified Industries sectors.
  3. Collaborating with student clubs to organize industry treks and networking events with professionals.
  4. Developing and delivering workshops and informational sessions about sectors and interview preparation for specific sectors or companies.
  5. Developing and promoting career resources and educational events relevant to the sector.
  6. Managing and reporting on employment data and statistics.
Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  1. A Master's degree.
  2. Experience in business development or corporate relations, minimum of 3 years.
  3. International experience, minimum of 2 years.
  4. Experience in any of the sectors within Diversified Industries is a plus.
  5. Prior experience working in teams, leadership experience is a must.
  6. Deep understanding of the job market and talent acquisition/recruitment practices.
  7. Bilingual (English and Spanish) with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  9. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with diverse constituency, including senior executives.
  10. Structured worker, with a strong sense of reality.
  11. Great organizational skills, being able to prioritize with a strategic mindset.
  12. Initiative: the candidate must be a professional with self-confidence, a spirit of service and a proactive and innovative attitude.
  13. Results oriented, with strong attention to processes. Highly motivated to achieve objectives, both individually and as part of a team.
  14. Ability to travel regularly and work evenings and weekends occasionally.
  15. Proven ability to create and establish external business relationships.
