**Job Summary**

Sin Nombre is a leading company in the transportation solutions industry, with a rich history of innovation and expertise in rolling stock, rail automation, and electrification. We are seeking an experienced Bid Technical Manager to join our team in Madrid, Spain.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage the bid process for rail projects on behalf of Sin Nombre, ensuring adherence to stipulated guidelines and costs.
  • Collaborate with system managers and experts to define system architecture and maintenance setups.
  • Review project requirement specifications and technical scope, aligning requirements with system managers and bid managers.
  • Define system architecture and suitable portfolios for projects, sending external and internal RfQs for validation.
  • Support RAMS analyses and analysis of impact on system architecture, responsible for cost calculation and risk analysis.
  • Produce the Bill of Quantities and prepare bid documents with the bid team.
  • Identify and advise management teams of technical risks for bids or bid opportunities, continuously improving job and activities in line with Sin Nombre values.
  • Assess and benchmark tenders against internal project references, leading or contributing to the preparation of accurate project estimates.
  • Responsible for detailed bid handover, including pricing, program, and procurement strategies to project/program teams.

**Requirements**

  • Management skills and ability in written and verbal communication, presentation skills, problem identification, categorization, and solving, people skills.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in engineering.
  • Good presentation, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft packages and good working knowledge of program software.
  • English and Spanish proficiency.
